Choux Pastry with Fresh Milk Filling Recipe (Bánh Su Nhân Sữa Tươi)


Today, I decide to make one of my favorite Vietnamese Dessert Recipes. It is Choux Pastry with Fresh Milk (Bánh Su Kem Nhân Sữa Tươi). This dish is the new way of the combination between Asian and European Cuisine. In hot or cold weather, it is still one of favorite cakes of many people. I suggest you can make it for New Year Party for your friends and beloved family. It is quite different with tradition suffle. But most importan is it is more simple and delicious.

Ingredients:

4 eggs
130gr wheat flour
250ml cold water
80gr butter
¼ teaspoon salt.
*** For filling fresh milk:
250ml fresh cream milk (whipping cream)
3 teaspoons icing sugar.

Process:

Step 1: Add butter + water + salt into small pot and cook until butter melts. Cook with small heat, then pour slowly wheat flour when water boils.

Step 2: Use big spoon to mix them well in 2 minutes. Then turn off the heat, continue stir until this mixture becomes a block and unstick into to pot. Please do not neglect in this process, it is really important to create one of stunning Vietnamese Dessert Recipes. Depends of wheat flour, after 2 stirring minutes, if you see it still cannot becomes an unstick block, you should add more wheat flour.

Step 3: Stir well eggs and mix it with mixture (in step 2). Continue to stir well until it is smooth.

Step 4: Pour mixture (in step 3) in plastic bag like photo below to create one by one Choux Pastry.
